  4. Task Force is an interactive multi-player space war/trade simulation that was
  5. written specifically to be run as a BBS 'door' on PCBOARD 14.x. The
  6. original game was designed by Jeff Petersen, who has transfered all rights
  7. to VERVAN who transfered to Cam N. DeBuck.

  12. MS/PC DOS 3.0 or higher
  13. 256K of 'available' RAM (per partition if multi-tasking).
  14. PCBOARD 14.x

  20. (1) DEMO, 100% functional, remote play allowed Com 1 & 2  : FREE
  21. (2) NEW OWNER registration and 1 year support package     : $25

  23. DEMO - The demo version of the game (TF21.ZIP) is FREE and you can get a
  24. copy either here or on major BBS's around the world. Please note that the demo
  25. is fully functional.  The demo game is 100% functional.
  26. You are welcome to play it with your friends for the next 20 years, should you
  27. so wish; BUT, if you want to run the game as a BBS 'door' game, then you MUST
  28. pay the registration fee. The prices are as quoted above and the address will
  29. be provided to you later in this bulletin.

  31. NEW OWNER - By paying the $25 registration fee, you get a special 'COD' file
  32. which will turn the 'demo' package into a 'door' game. You will also receive
  33. a lifetime subscription to the BBS's and will be granted access to a
  34. special conference for PAID owners of our products.

  65. Task Force is copyrighted by Cam N. DeBuck and all rights are reserved. This
  66. program is NOT 'public domain' or 'shareware'. Task Force is a COMMERCIAL
  67. product. The nominal $25 fee that you pay makes it possible for us to provide
  68. you with support and updates as well as future doors. Anyone who purchases this
  69. program is granted a non-exclusive license to run this game on ONE bulletin
  70. board system (BBS). While you are welcome to give the DEMO version to anyone,
  71. the COD file is declared to be Cam N. DeBuck proprietary property. As such, you may
  72. NOT distribute your customized COD file to anyone. If anyone is interested in
  73. previewing the program before purchasing it, a demonstration copy is available.
